As a South African with Scottish ancestry I have taken the things I love about my birthplace and married them to the very best of what my ancestral home can offer. We will never rest on our laurels and continually strive to improve our guest experience at all levels. We will continue to build on our Michelin and Inn of the Year awards, so whether you’re eating diner in the Restaurant, or lunch in the more casual Study our menus will reflect the season, the best the surrounding area has to offer always striving to give you a superlative food and service experience. Our unique Cellar dining room housing Europe’s largest collection of South African only wines, is designed with relaxation, fun and friends in mind, after all that’s what getting away is all about.

We took over Ardtalnaig Estate earlier this year and are now able to offer guests guided walks, photographic stalking, off-road cycling country sports and an exclusive use Mountain Bothy for lunch and dinner parties.
