From Ardeonaig and Beyond

If you are looking for thing to do on a day out from the hotel, then there’s plenty on offer and not too far away.

Days out Round the Loch and further afield

The hotel is well placed for day trips to Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Pitlochry and Killin. Each of these places have something for all ages.

Killin boasts the Falls of Dochart, a must see whether it’s summer or winter.

Aberfeldy has some great visitor attractions, not least the Cluny House Gardens with its 2.4ha Himalayan/North American woodland garden overlooking the Strathtay Valley or for those that are into their Whisky, then Dewars Distillery offer guided tours.

In-between Aberfeldy and Pitlochry is one of my favourites, Legends of Grantully/The Scottish Chocolate Centre, where you are able to pick some delicious treats.

On the opposite side of the loch there a few stops to be made. The Moirlanich longhouse is a great example of a traditional rural home and run by the National Trust for Scotland. You also have The Scottish Crannog Centre, which is a great day out for the whole family.

For further afield days out, you can visit Glencoe, Perth, Callander and Oban.
